TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Lone Peak Pet Services agrees to provide pet sitting, dog walking and other applicable pet care services in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner. In consideration of the services and as an express condition thereof, the client expressly waives and releases Lone Peak Pet Services from any and all claims against the company, its owners, employees and representatives, except those arising from negligence or willful misconduct on the part of Lone Peak Pet Services.
2. Client agrees to notify Lone Peak Pet Services of any concerns within 24 hours of completion of services.
3. Lone Peak Pet Services reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee of 100% of the scheduled visit if canceled outside of reasonable notice, at least 24 hours for walking and 5 days for pet sitting. Sudden illness or hospitalization will not be charged.
4. Client agrees to pay all charges accrued for services rendered. Client understands that payment is due the day service is performed unless explicitly agreed upon supplementary payment terms. Client will incur 5% interest per day on all charges if payment has not been received within five days of service being performed.
5. Client will incur a $25 charge for each returned check in addition to any and all bank fees attributed to the returned check.
6. All service arrival times are estimates. Traffic, bad weather and medical emergencies will impact on any timings. The owner will be notified of a major delay. e.g. more than 1 hour.
7. Lone Peak Pet Service shall exercise all precautions against sickness, injury, escape, loss, accidents or death of Client’s pet(s). Lone Peak Pet Services is not responsible for sickness, injury, escape, loss accidents or death of Client’s pet(s) unless caused through negligence or willful misconduct on the part of Lone Peak Pet Services.
8. Client represents and warrants that pet(s) are currently vaccinated in accordance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations.
9 The Client agrees to notify Lone Peak Pet Services immediately of any infectious and/or contagious disease or conditions their dog has been exposed to or is affected by. Such diseases and conditions include, but are not limited to: Distemper, Hepatitis, Kennel Cough, Parvovirus, Coronavirus, Worms, Lyme disease, Fleas, Pregnancy, Infectious Skin Diseases and Intestinal Parasites and all other contagious diseases for pets in general. Lone Peak Pet Services reserves the right to refuse services until satisfied that the condition is resolved.
10. The Client is responsible for the full cost of treatment of any injuries or illness that may occur with their pet(s) while under the care of Lone Peak Pet Services. The Client authorizes Lone Peak Pet Services to seek such veterinary advice and/or treatment as they deem necessary; where possible this will be carried out by the Client’s usual/preferred vet, but this cannot be guaranteed (e.g. in an emergency) and the Client accepts that Lone Peak Pet Services may at their discretion use any registered vet. The Client agrees to pay all such costs immediately.
11. Client accepts responsibility for all medical expenses and other damages resulting from an injury to the Pet Sitter, other persons, or other animal(s) caused by the Client’s pet(s)
12. Client agrees to indemnify, hold harmless and defend Lone Peak Pet Services in the event of a claim by any person injured or otherwise damaged by Client’s pet(s)
13. Lone Peak Pet Services reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time if the Pet Sitter, in his/her sole discretion, determines that the Client’s pet(s) poses a danger to the health or safety of itself, other pets, other people or the Pet Sitter.
14. Lone Peak Pet Services reserves the right to refuse service to any client, at any time, for any reason.
15. This document gives Lone Peak Pet Services and its representatives authorization to enter the Client’s listed address as needed to perform agreed upon services. Lone Peak Pet Services will secure the home at the end of each visit.
16. Lone Peak Pet Services is not liable for any loss or damage in the event of a burglary or other crime that should occur while under this contract.
17. In the case of an emergency, inclement weather or a natural disaster, the Client authorizes Lone Peak Pet Services to use reasonable judgment for the care and well being of Client’s pet(s) and residence. Lone Peak Pet Services will make reasonable efforts to maintain service during these conditions but reserves the right to adjust the schedule of service based on the sole discretion of the Pet Sitter.
18. Client is responsible for supplying the necessary equipment and supplies needed for the care of their pet(s) including, but not limited to, a sturdy, well-fit harness or collar and leash for walks, pet food, medications, identification tags, litter boxes, cat litter and cleaning supplies. Client authorizes any purchase necessary for the satisfactory performance of duties. Costs of all purchases and related service fees will be reimbursed to Lone Peak Pet Services.
19. The Client agrees that Lone Peak Pet Services is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged pet equipment. Lone Peak Pet Services will use best endeavors to make sure that items are treated respectfully and returned to the Client where applicable.
20. Client authorizes this contract to be valid approval for services so as to permit Lone Peak Pet Services to accept all future in person, telephone, online, or email reservations and provide services without additional authorizations.
21. The Term of this document applies to all pets owned by the client, including any and all new pets that the customer obtains on or after the date this document was agreed upon
